Yesterday I didnt get time to post about my experiences! I was taken across through boarder which is about 7 minutes from where I am staying. Burma's in much worse shape than Thailand. We went to the house of hope where orphaned children are welcome to stay! I had so much fun playing with the kids, singing songs, and handing out balloons and stickers. So much joy comes from the simplest things. The children would keep calling me teacher teacher in Burmese, I didn't find out what it meant until After. I was then taken to the wonderful land where life impact has built houses for families that take in children who were abandoned or abused. It was so fun being able to greet each home and meet the children. Also the baby at the bottom is Benjamin! A mother at the community had a beautiful baby boy:-)it was so amazing getting to see the family with their new baby. The hospital s in Thailand are very poor, it can be hard for a mother who has a c section to even afford to stay at a hospital. Benjamin's mother is so strong, she is in a lot of pain but I am praying forerunner healing And quick recovery!

Prevention Projects in Surrounding villages
Prevention Projects
The link above will connect you to wonderful ministry that Took place today! Once a month food is taking to family that meets the criteria in order to prevent the parents from selling their children. Once we give them food we then take the time to minister the Gospel. I had through opportunity to share in 3 very different situations.
My heart is So happy to be able to share the love of God with them. There is so much poverty, hurt, and loss. Its amazing how God can break any barrier, especially with the language. I had an interpreter but was also able to convey Gods love with a smile and hug!

Allright folks, so today my journey to Thailand begins! It has been 6 months since i filled out my application to travel with life impact international, And the time has finally come. I have quite the travels ahead of me before I even set foot on Thailand soil. My journey began with a 9 Hour delay in Vancouver, which is my first flight out of Kelowna(home). Ive decided its was just for preparation and quiet time I need for my trip. I am currently sitting in the Taipei airport waiting for my next flight to Bangkok. I slept most of the way from Vancouver to Taipei so it wasn't too bad:-) I am so thankful to have family that supports me and a cause I am passionate about! It make travelling half way across the world that much more easy. Please continue to pray for me, my theme for this trip so far is centered on Hebrews 12:2-3, I am so thankful for a savior that saw the freedom and joy we would experience once he embraced the cross. I believe Thailand has lots its joy, and the true meaning of its name which is "the land of smiles." Pray fr restoration for these children and families that are seeking Gods love and joy!
P.s my neck pillow is awesome
